Sunday/Day 1: Upon your arrival at Cairo International AIrport you will be met and assisted by our representative, then transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Monday/Day 2: After breakfast depart for a full day of sightseeing. Visit the Necropolis of Memphis and the Step Pyramid of Sakkara. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before continuing on to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx at the Giza Plateau. Enjoy a camel ride and a photo stop at the panorama area. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight in Cairo. (B/L)
Tuesday/Day 3: This morning start out at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where you will see the treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun. The Museum is a wonderful introduction for this ancient country. Lunch will be served at a typical restaurant. Continue on to the Jewish Synagogue and the Hanging Church that was built in the 4th century over the southern gate of the Fortress of Babylon. Afterwards transfer to the Cairo Railway Station for your sleeping train to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board. (B/D)
Wednesday/Day 4: Breakfast will be on board the train before your arrival in Aswan. Upon your arrival there you will transfer to the Nile Cruise before lunch. In the afternoon visit the High Dam and enjoy a felucca ride (sailing boat) along the Nile River. Dinner and belly dancing party on board the cruise ship. Overnight in Aswan. (B/L/D)
Thursday/Day 5: The ship will sail to Kom Ombo in the morning for a visit to the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the god Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god. Reboard the ship to enjoy lunch as you sail on to Edfu. Dinner and Galabyia party on board. Overnight in Edfu. (B/L/D)
Friday/Day 6: After breakfast visit the Temple of Edfu. It is dedicated to the god Horus, represented by the falcon and is a magnificent blend of Ptolemaic and Greek architecture. Returning to the ship, sail on to Luxor, passing through the Esna lock. Upon arrival at Luxor visit the Temples of Karnak, dedicated to the Theban Triad (Amon, Mut, and Khonso). Also visit the Temple of Luxor, dedicated to Amon Ra and his wife Mut. Return to the ship for dinner and disco party, and overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D)
Saturday/Day 7: After breakfast you will disembark, then visit the West Bank of the Nile and the Valley of the Kings where the tombs of Tut Ankh-Amon, Ramses III, Seti I, Ramses VI, Amenhotep II, and more are located. You will also visit Queen Hatshepsut's Temple (the only woman to rule Egypt during the Pharaonic age) and the Colossi of Memnon (ruins of the tomb of Amenhotep III). Afterwards transfer to Luxor Airport for departure flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Sunday/Day 8: Today is free for relaxing on the beach or snorkeling, diving or swimming. Dinner and overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. (B/D)
Monday/Day 9: After breakfast, check out and transfer by air conditioned mini bus to St. Catherine's. Check in. Dinner and make it an early night. (B/D)
Tuesday/Day 10: Very early in the morning (2am) you will transfer to Mount Sinai to walk up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the sunrise. Afterwards walk back down for breakfast and visit the St. Catherine Monastery. Transfer by air conditioned mini bus to Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo check in to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Wednesday/Day 11: Today is free and at your leisure for additional exploring, shopping, or just relaxing on your own. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Thursday/Day 12: After breakfast check out and transfer to the Cairo International Airport for your flight back home. (B)
