This has been a popular itinerary for many clients, where you will be able to experience the very best highlights of each country. The group will meet in Beirut, tour for several days to the many sites north and south of the capital city, then fly to Amman, Jordan. In Jordan we will take you to visit Jerash, the Dead Sea, Mt. Nebo, Madaba, Wadi Rum, Petra, and Aqaba, then cross into Israel at Eilat. Join us for this small group, intimate tour of Turkey. Caravan-Serai's tours are always much more personal, getting you even closer to the people and cultures we are visiting. With only 15 people you will be able to have more contact with our guide and hear them better and ask more questions. And we make sure we use comfortable, air conditioned buses, with room for everyone to spread out and relax in between stops. We are mostly staying in smaller boutique hotels, often found in the center of the historical districts, and located in older buildings that have been renovated. You will see how the tug of war between the Russian Empire, European and Asian kingdoms and tribes played out in these tiny mountainous countries over the centuries. Our tour will begin in Rabat, the capital and administrative center of the country. We will continue to Fes, then into the Atlas Mountains to the town of Ifrane and then on to the edge of the Sahara Desert with a night out in the dunes at Merzouga. We will spend a few days in the magical city of Marrakesh, then make our way to the coast and the city of Essaouira before heading back along the Atlantic coastline to Casablanca. Experience the Imperial Cities and desert Kasbahs, local markets, and the best Moroccan cuisine! We will be staying in hotels and small boutique riads during our tour. May 5 - 20, 2012 Persian Gardens & History Tour of Iran $4795 pp/do land only Make a Reservation		We have a new tour to Iran that will focus on the Persian Gardens and History associated with them. We will begin in Tehran where we will visit palace museums and garden complexes, then on to the city of Kashan to see the hsitorical sites there and the World Heritage Garden of Fin. From there we will continue our southward journey to the cities of Yazd and Kerman, then on to Shiraz were we visit the beautiful Eram Persian Garden of Eden. More details on this tour coming soon!
