African Safari Mix & Match - Part II - Tanzania

Day 7 & 8: 8.00 am depart on the scheduled service shuttle bus (25 seater) to Arusha (285 kms, 4.5 hrs) for lunch. 2.00 pm continue (190 kms, 4 hrs) to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, on the rim of the crater for a fullboard stay of 2 nights. Next day depart with picnic lunch and descend through the early morning mist to the crater floor for a day of game viewing and adventure. This 2000 ft. natural amphitheatre formed by the collapse of an extinct volcano, plays host to the "Big Five" as well as flamingoes and other birds.

Day 9 & 10: 8.00 am depart with picnic lunch and drive (185 kms) to Serengeti National Park - a wildlife legend in Africa. Continue with game viewing enroute to Serengeti sopa Lodge for a fullboard stay of 2 nights. Next day depart with picnic lunch for a fullday of game viewing in the Serengeti Park. With it's wide open spaces and diverse wildlife population, the Serengeti typifies everyone's version of "dream Africa".

Day 11: 8.00 a.m. after breakfast depart and drive (330 kms, 6 hrs) to Arusha for lunch. Transfer to Novotel Mt. Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight. Valid 1/4/00 - 30/6/00 (excluding easter period):

Included: fullboard accommodation on safari, bed & breakfast in Nairobi, halfboard in Arusha, all safari transport in 6-seater 4-WD landcruiser (5 window seats) with pop-up roof and English speaking driver/guide, airport transfers, Nairobi - Arusha - Nairobi shuttle and all park entrance fees.

Not Included: Tips for guide and driver(we usually recommend $2 or $3 for the driver and $5 for the guide-all per peson per day), beverages, laundry, porterage, airport departure tax and all items of a personal nature
