Day 1 - USA - Dubai - Arrive at Dubai Airport where our local representative will meet and assist with immigration formalities. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 2 - Dubai - After breakfast enjoy a tour of the city of Dubai, known international as a modern shoppers' paradise. We will visit the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque and one of the tallest buildings in the Middle East - the Dubai World Trade Center. We will also visit the Dubai Museum in the Al Fahidi Fort, and end the tour in the spice and gold souks. We will return to the hotel for lunch and some free time in the afternoon before departing for a dinner cruise on a dhow. Overnight in Dubai.

Day 3 - Dubai - After breakfast we will depart for a tour of Sharjah, the third largest of the Emirates. Sharjah has some of the most interesting architecture of the region, and has souks to rival those in Dubai. We will see the largest mosque in the U.A.E. and get a glimpse of the more traditional way of life in the region. Afterward, we will return to the hotel for lunch and enjoy some free time in the afternoon. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. Overnight in Dubai.

Day 4 - Dubai - Bahrain After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight to Bahrain. Upon our arrival at Bahrain Airport we will be met and assisted and then transfer to our hotel for overnight.

Day 5 - Bahrain - After breakfast, we will take a tour of Manama and the surrounding area. The tiny island state is the site of some of the oldest civilizations in the world (thought by some to be the site of the Garden of Eden). Bahrain is packed with archaeological digs, historical museums, dhow building yards and back-street souks. Overnight in Bahrain.

Day 6 - Bahrain - Doha After breakfast we will check out and transfer to the airport for our flight to Qatar and the city of Doha. We will be met and assisted and transfer to our hotel for overnight.

Day 7 - Doha - After breakfast the morning is free. You might want to take in the National Museum and Aquarium, and the Ethnographic Museum, which is a restored Qatari house that depicts life before oil. In the afternoon we will depart for a Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner. We will return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 8 - Doha - Muscat This morning after breakfast we will depart for Oman. Our flight takes us to the capital city of Muscat, where we will be met and assisted and transfer to our hotel. In the afternoon we will enjoy a city tour of Muscat. The city has several forts that date back to the 1500's and the Portuguese occupation. The sultan's main palace is also in Muscat. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 9 - Muscat - Today we will venture out of Muscat to visit Nizwa. Nizwa's fort was built in the mid-17th century by Sultan bin Saif, the first imam of the Al-Ya'ribi dynasty and served as a combination palace, seat of government and prison. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 10 - Muscat - Al Ain We will have breakfast at the hotel before checking out and departing for the oasis town of Al-Ain. Al-Ain is the main town in the Buraimi Oasis, which straddles the border between Abu Dhabi and Oman. We will check in to our hotel for overnight.

Day 11 - Al Ain - Abu Dhabi After breakfast we will check out of the hotel and then take a half day tour of Al Ain. We will visit the Al-Ain Museum to see exhibits on life in the region before oil, Bedouin jewelry, weaponry, musical instruments and the interior of a Bedouin tent. Al-Ain has a bustling livestock market that attracts Beduoin and townspeople from all over southern U.A.E. and we may be able to see some lively trading going on. There are also several forts in the area that we can explore. Afterwards we will drive to Abu Dhabi for overnight.

Day 12 - Abu Dhabi - Dubai We will check out after breakfast and depart for a tour of Abu Dhabi before driving on to Dubai. Abu Dhabi was a pearling center until the industry collapsed, sending the town into ruin. Almost the entire city has been rebuilt as a result of the oil wealth and political strength of the emirate. It is the richest of the seven emirates. After the tour we will drive to Dubai for overnight.

Day 13 - Dubai - After breakfast, we will enjoy a full day tour of the east coast. We will return to the hotel in Dubai for overnight.

Day 14 - Dubai - Today we will head north to Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah. Ras Al-Khaimah has an abundance of interesting archeological sites and is an irrigated oasis wedged in between the lagoon and mountains. We will return to Dubai in the afternoon for overnight.

Day 15 - Dubai - USA - This morning we will depart for the airport after breakfast. We will be assisted with our departure formalities and then board the flight back to USA.
