Egypt for Golfers
11 Days/10 Nights
Cairo/Hurghada/Luxor/Cairo

Day 1 - Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 - After breakfast depart for a dull day tour of Cairo, including the Egyptian National Museum where the incredible treasure of King Tut Ankh Amun is on display. Enjoy lunch in the city before heading out to visit the most famous landmarks in the world: the Pyramids and Sphinx. Return to your hotel to freshen up and rest before returning to the Pyramids for an evening Light and Sound Show. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3 - After breakfast depart for a full day of golfing at the Dream Land Golf and Tennis Resort. Afterward, return to your hotel to get ready for Dinner and Nile Cruise with a Folkloric Show. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4 - After breakfast depart for the airport to catch your flight to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. Upon arrival there you will be met and assisted and transferred to your hotel. Check in before heading out for a round on the links. This afternoon you will be playing at either the El Gouna Golf Course, or the Cascades Golf Resort and Country Club. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 5 - After breakfast head out for a full day of golf. Afterwards, you are on your own to explore this Red Sea resort town. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 6 - After breakfast enjoy another full day on the golf course. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 - After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival you will be met and assisted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 8 - After breakfast, take a break from the fantastic golf courses and spend the day sightseeing in the spectacular Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, visiting the Temple of Hetshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Be sure to bring lots of film for your camera! Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 9 - After breakfast depart for another day of golf in this ancient valley. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 10 - After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted, then transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or do some last minute shopping in the markets. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 11 - Enjoy breakfast before departing to the airport for your flight home.

Hurghada/Red Sea
El Gouna Golf Course
This 18 hole course is located in the suburbs of Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. It was designed by architect Gene Bates and meets US PGA standards. The course is a par 72 of about 6,902 yards, with an average green size of 650 meters. The greens are grassed with Tidwarf Bermuda and the fairways are grassed with Paspalum.

The Cascades Golf Resort and Country Club at Soma Bay, Hurghada
Designed by Gary Player Design Group, this course lies between the coastline of the Red Sea and the desert landscape of Soma bay and Hurghada, creating a stark but beautiful contrast as you make your way across this par 72 course, caressed by warm sea breezes and glistening sunshine. The 6,640 meters of this course are landscaped with palm, olive, and paper trees, bougainvillea, and pampas grass. The fairways are grassed with Kikuyu grass and the greens are covered in Tidwell Bermuda.

Cairo
Dream Land Golf Course and Tennis Resort
This course was designed by Karl Litten and covers a challenging 7,205 yards. It's par 72, 18 holes are, nevertheless, accessible to all levels of players as there are 5 tees to accommodate any ability.

Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis Resort
Renowned French golf architect, Yves Bureau, designed this challenging course with fast fairways bordered by aggregate and sandy areas. It has significant elevation changes allowing for spectacular views and some creative shots. This course also has five sets of tees to accommodate a variety of abilities.

Luxor
Royal Valley Golf Course Luxor
Architect Arthur Davis of Atlanta, Georgia designed this 18 hole, par 72 course. It is modern and beautifully laid out in this ancient valley of Upper Egypt. This course ranges from 5,217 yards from the front tees to 6,735 yards from the back tees, making it a satisfying course for beginners and accomplished golfers alike.
