Entry and Visa Information for Jordan

Individual visas can be acquired upon arrival at the following ports of entry:

• Queen Alia Airport
• Amman Civil Airport
• Aqaba Airport
• Sheikh Hussein and Arava Borders with Israel
• Aqaba Port connecting to Egypt

If you are crossing into Jordan via the Allenby Bridge, you will need to get a Jordanian visa prior to arriving at the border. If you plan to travel to any other Arab country, do not have your passport stamped with an Israeli stamp...Ask for a separate piece of paper to be stamped.

Groups of 6 or more people: Visas are FREE for entry via the following points of entry only:

• Queen Alia Airport
• Amman Civil Airport
• Aqaba Airport
• Aqaba Port connecting to Egypt
• Ramtha and Jaber Borders with Syria.

Visas for Jordan: $60USD fee, multiple entry, valid for three (3) years.

Queen Alia Airport $22.50 USD
Amman Civil Airport $22.50 USD
Aqaba Airport $22.50 USD
Ramtha Border with Syria $13.50 USD
Jaber Border with Syria $13.50 USD
Aqaba Port $13.50 USD
Allenby Bridge $ 9.00 USD
Sheikh Hussein Border $ 9.00 USD
Arava Border $ 9.00 USD

Departure taxes must be paid regardless of point of entry. Groups entering and exiting from any of the above listed points and staying a minimum of four (4) nights in Jordan are exempt from departure tax. Taxes are subject to change without notice.

Ferry to Egypt:
Speed Boat: Aqaba to Nuweiba

• $33.00 per person
• Advance reservations recommended, trip takes approximately one hour
• Operates daily year round.
• Departs Aqaba at 12:00pm and arrives in Nuweiba at 1:00pm
• Departs Nuweiba at 3:00pm and arrives in Aqaba at 4:00pm

Catamaran: Aqaba to Nuweiba

• $25.00 per person
• Advance reservations recommended, trip takes approximately four hours
• Operates daily
• Departs Aqaba at 3:00pm and arrives in Nuweiba at 7:00pm
• Departs Nuweiba at 12:00pm and arrives in Aqaba at 4:00pm

Please arrive at the port one hour prior to departure time.
