Moroccan
Desert Adventure
Day 1 - Arrival in Ouarzazate, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Today you will travel across the majestic Atlas Mountains to Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara, the next settlement of significance is Timbouktou, some 700 miles across the desert to the south. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel Tinsouline.
Day 3 - Start your desert journey from Zagora to Oulad Brahim hamlet exploring the dunes and the palm groves of Tinfou. This is a day to discover the hospitable desert. Enjoy a campfire dinner and overnight in the exotic Kasbah of Oulad Brahim.
Day 4 - Continue your journey to the lands of the Beni Ali tribe (12 miles), enjoying the picturesque oases and natural sights that will entice your senses. After dinner, Sufi stories will be told around a campfire under the stars that have guided caravans for many centuries.
Day 5 - Your caravan will depart for Bouagane (14 miles) through the fertile green oases filled with Persian rose bushes and lush date palm groves. Enjoy your lunch by Lake Nacer and dinner hosted by a local family in their kasbah. Zikr and Sufi stories afterward.
Day 6 - On the paths to Bou Igaywaren (16 miles), palm groves and dunes surround you. Music of nature and songs from birds of different species will accompany you throughout the journey. This is truly a place where the Sahara reveals a very distinguished aspect of its beauty. Dinner with local musicians in the hamlet of Bou Igaywaren.
Day 7 - Continue to Foum Rjam (12 miles), an outpost for caravans coming from all across the Saraha throughout the centuries. This is an excellent opportunity to encounter and trade with other caravans from the depth of the desert. Dinner will be enjoyed around a campfire.
Day 8 - Travel the high dunes of Erg Lihoudi for an unforgettable night under the stars . Tonight there will be a farewell dinner with typical Saharan music and dance.
Day 9 - Today you will leave for Marrakesh, exploring Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Hadou Kasbahs along the way. Dinner and overnight in Marrakesh.
Day 10 - City tour of Marrekesh in the evening dinner "Fantasis" overnight hotel
Day 11 - Departure back to Casablanca with stops along the way. In the afternoon city tour of Casablanca - rest of the day free for last minute shopping.
Day 12 - Transfer to the airport for journey home.
