In light of recent events, Caravan-Serai Tours is offering increased flexibility for people who have booked on our upcoming tours. Although our tours currently are scheduled to depart as planned, we understand the decision to travel is personal. We feel it is important to offer you this peace of mind.
Please note that should you choose this offer, it does not cancel your tour. It merely provides increased flexibility, should you later decide to change your travel plans. We hope that this will give you more confidence as your tour approaches.
Tours booked through August 31, 2020 will have the ability to opt-in to this program.
Tour with Confidence Offer:
Caravan-Serai Tours is offering guests with new and existing bookings for tours departing March 12, 2020 through August 31, 2020 the ability to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the start of your Tour Package and receive a Tour Credit equal to 100% of Amounts Paid. If you opt for this offer, these terms replace the cancellation terms that otherwise would have applied.
Terms / Definitions:
Tour Credit: Each Tour Credit issued to you may be applied for equal value of any future 2020 or 2021 Tour Package purchased by you. Tour Credits have no cash value, are non- transferable, and must be used for travel before 12/31/2021.
Tour Package: The scheduled Caravan-Serai Tours tour occurring between the embarkation and disembarkation dates printed on your tour itinerary and any additional tours, hotel nights, or transportation service purchased directly through Caravan-Serai Tours, Inc. which appear on your tour confirmation receipt.
Amounts Paid: This means the cash, check, or credit card amounts actually paid for your Tour Package, including any deposits made to reserve your tour package. Tour Credits, certificates, vouchers, or discounts are not Amounts Paid as defined herein.
The Start of Your Tour Package: The scheduled start of your travel arrangements purchased from Caravan-Serai Tours (tour, hotel, ground transportation and tour services).
Should you need to cancel your tour – you must notify us at maha@caravan-serai.com. Please remember, we must receive your cancellation notice at least 24 hours before the start of your Tour Package. Please note that airline tickets are handled separately and must go through the airline for refunds or changes. If you booked your air with Caravan-Serai Tours we can assist you with those changes through the airline.
