Alaska Airlines recently posted they have been tentatively approved for flights from Los Angeles to Havana that could start this fall.
“Our daily nonstop service will originate in Seattle, with same-plane service to Los Angeles and Havana on our Boeing 737-900ER aircraft.“
Although you can book your airline tickets and fly directly from the US to Cuba, there are still restrictions on US citizens traveling to Cuba. You have to be on an approved “people to people educational/cultural exchange tour in order to get the visa. Other requirements to travel to Cuba include the mandatory health insurance fee, and departure taxes. If you book your Cuba tour and flights with Caravan-Serai Tours we will make sure that you get all the necessary requirements taken care of before your departure.
