Day 01 Muscat – Coastal road – Sur
At 8:30am you will meet your tour guide and escort you to the 4 wheel drive for day’s tour. You will then proceed along the coastal road heading to Sur. On the way you stop at Bimah sinkhole, a geological wonder. From here it’s a short distance to the Fins Beach and then continue the tour to Wadi Shab. Take a hike up one of Oman’s scenic wadis. (Picnic lunch packets can be served at optional cost) At the end of Wadi Shab there is a swim through the famous keyhole into the secluded swimming hole. You then proceed to Sur and visit dhow yards where you might see the dhows still being made by hand. Check-in at the hotel around 3:30pm. Overnight at Sur Plaza Hotel.
Optional: After early dinner you proceed towards to Ras al Jinz to observe the nesting habits of green sea turtles at Ras al Jinz beach. Return Hotel after the tour.
Day 02 Sur – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands – Nizwa
Breakfast in the hotel. At 8:30am you embark on your tour towards Wadi Bani Khalid. Reach the magnificent Wadi. The pools are cool, deep and absolutely stunning and the silky water perfect for a long swim. Later you drive to undulating golden sands. The great Wahiba sands are longitudinal dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. This is the traditional home of the Bedouin, hardy spirited people who know how to survive in these harsh desert conditions. You are invited to meet with a Bedouin family and gain an intimate insight into their traditional lifestyle. (Lunch at optional cost) You then proceed to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. You visit the souq showcasing a wonderful array of handicrafts – coffee pots, swords, leather goods, silverware, antiques, and household utensils. Check in at hotel around 1600 hrs. Overnight at Falaj Daris Hotel. (B)
Day 03 Nizwa – Misfat Al Abrein – Muscat
Breakfast in the Hotel. Depart at 8:30am and visit Nizwa fort, which was completed in the 1650’s, was the seat of power during the rule of the Al Ya’ruba dynasty and is Oman’s most visited National monument. You then drive towards Bahla, the oldest recorded region of civilization in Oman. There is a huge loam fort, which is at present under renovation. Because of its cultural importance, the town is listed in UNESCO’s list of world heritage monuments. Bahla is also known as the pottery capital of Oman. From here it is a short distance to the mighty bastion of Jabrin and the crown seat of the Yaruba Dynasty. You will then proceed to Misfat Al Abrein, a picturesque village strapped on to the side of a mountain. As you walk around this beautiful village where time has come to a standstill, you will be moved by the simplicity and friendliness of the people. Picnic Lunch can be served at optional cost. You then proceed back to Muscat and drop off your hotel in Muscat around 4:00pm. (B)

DRESS CODE DURING TOURS
Grand Mosque – Women should wear attire covering their arms and legs and should cover their head with scarf. Men should wear normal shirt and trousers.
Swimming in Wadis – Wadis are a public tourist area and hence, it attracts both tourist & locals equally. Keeping in mind the country’s culture, all women are requested to wear pants that go to their knees. T-shirts & capris or longer shorts are fine. However, bikinis only are not acceptable.
Trekking – Take as little as possible as conditions are usually steep and hot. Boots are required and it should be lightweight but beware of the aggressive nature of the rocks. Trekking shoes and light colored clothes are advisable.
During other tours – Smart casuals are suitable especially if visiting local villages and meeting local people.
