Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum complex in the world, where treasures from Egypt’s vast history— including the complete Tutankhamun collection—are displayed with state‑of‑the‑art curation. Sakkara, the Citadel & the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Begin your day with breakfast before departing for Sakkara, the ancient necropolis of Memphis. Here you’ll visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser—the world’s first monumental stone structure and a revolutionary leap in architectural history. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Citadel of Salah El‑Din, the medieval fortress that once defended Cairo from Crusader attacks. Inside stands the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known as the “Alabaster Mosque,” its Ottoman‑style domes and sweeping views making it one of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks. Flight to Luxor & Embark on Nile Cruise After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be assisted at the airport before boarding your 5‑star deluxe Nile cruise ship, the Mövenpick Royal Lotus or Lilly. Enjoy lunch on board, then set out to explore Luxor’s magnificent East Bank, beginning with the vast temple complex of Karnak—an awe‑inspiring maze of towering columns, carved obelisks, and sacred lakes. Continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully preserved and linked to Karnak by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D)

Luxor – Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut Temple – Sail to Edfu Enjoy breakfast on board, with an optional early‑morning hot-air balloon ride offering a breathtaking aerial view of Luxor’s temples and tombs. Today’s visits take you to the West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom—including Tutankhamun—were laid to rest in elaborately decorated tombs carved deep into the mountains. You will visit three of these remarkable tombs. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most impressive architectural achievements, rising in terraces against the desert cliffs. Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan After breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon‑headed god Horus. This is one of the best‑preserved temples in Egypt, its walls vividly depicting the eternal struggle between Horus and Seth. Sail onward to Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, explore the unique twin temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the Elder. Nearby, the Crocodile Museum displays mummified crocodiles once revered in the area. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner on board and overnight. (B/L/D)

Aswan – Philae Temple & Felucca Ride After breakfast, visit the High Dam—one of Egypt’s modern engineering marvels—before continuing by boat to the enchanting Temple of Philae. Dedicated to Isis, goddess of love and magic, the temple complex was rescued from rising waters and relocated stone‑by‑stone to Agilkia Island. After lunch on board, enjoy a relaxing felucca sail on the Nile, gliding past botanical gardens and granite outcrops. Dinner and overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

Abu Simbel & Return to Cairo Following breakfast, disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Visit the awe‑inspiring twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, masterpieces carved directly into the mountainside and famous for their dramatic relocation during the construction of the High Dam. Fly back to Cairo and transfer to your 5‑star hotel—InterContinental City Stars or Le Méridien—for your final night in Egypt. Overnight in Cairo.
