Egypt Tour – Sample

Arrive to Cairo international airport, meet and assist inside the airport by our representative and transfer to the 5 star hotel (Ritz Carlton Tahreer square or similar), check in and overnight in Cairo.

Breakfast at the hotel then we start our full day tour to the Giza Pyramids, and you will be able to go inside the greatest pyramid of King Cheops (fees included), then we will visit the Sphinx. Lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the Khan El Khalili Market for shopping, coffee, hena tattoos, etc. then back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel then we start our full day visit to Sakkara to visit one of the oldest cut stone monuments in the world, the step pyramid of King Zoser, dating back to 2717 BC. Visit the site and one of the tombs of the old kingdom. Lunch at a local restaurant, then we will visit the Egyptian museum where the most famous ancient artifacts are including King Tutankamon treasures. Back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel then we start our full day visit to the Citadel of Salah Eldeen, mosque of Mohammed Ali, old Coptic Cairo to the Hanging Church and to the Gayer Anderson museum. Lunch at one of the best restaurants in Cairo: either Felfela or Abo Elsseed. Back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

Early breakfast at the hotel then we drive to Alexandria (3.5 hour drive), upon arrival to Alexandria we will visit the Catacombs, Pompeii’s pillar, the famous Alexandria Library and the Montazah Palace and gardens of the former King Farouk. Lunch at a local restaurant then we drive back to Cairo and overnight. (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Cairo airport to catch our flight to Abu Simbel (2 hours). Arrive Abu Simbel and visit the unique and magnificent temples of King Ramses 2 and Queen Nefertari. Return back to Abu Simbel airport and fly back to Aswan. Arrive Aswan airport and drive to our hotel (Movenpick Aswan or Helnan Aswan), check in and some free time before we meet again around 3 pm to enjoy a felucca (sail boat) ride on the Nile, carriage ride thru the town, and if time permits visit a perfume shop. Back to the hotel and get ready to get dinner at a local restaurant in Aswan. Back to the hotel and overnight in Aswan. (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and start our visit to the High Dam and to the Temple of Philae dedicated to goddess of love, Isis. drive to our 5 star deluxe cruise ship, check in and lunch on board. Rest of the day free at leisure. Dinner on board and overnight. (B/L/D)

After Breakfast, we visit Kom Ombo temple dedicated to God Sobek the crocodile headed god. Back to the ship to cruise the Nile to Edfu, lunch on board. and visit the temple of Edfu, dedicated to God Horus, god of protection and it is the most well preserved among all temples, back to the ship. Sail to Esna to get through the locks and move from the high water level to the lower level and continue sailing to Luxor. Dinner on board and overnight. (B/L/D).

After breakfast we will visit the necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings and the tomb of King Tutankamon, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Back to the ship for lunch, afternoon free at leisure. Dinner on board and overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D).

After breakfast, we will check out of the ship and start our visit to Karnak and Luxor temples then we will check in to Steigenberger hotel or Sonesta Saint George hotel (Nile view room guaranteed), free afternoon at leisure. Before sunset we will take a carriage ride to the old part of the city and to the local market. Dinner at a local restaurant then back to hotel and overnight in Luxor. (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Cairo, or drive to Hurghada for the optional 3 day extension. (B)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and fly back home.
